Local storage

Your game progress is stored exclusively in your browser (LocalStorage) and is never transmitted to us.

Server logs

When you visit this site, our hosting provider (Laravel Cloud) processes technically required connection data (e.g. your IP address) to deliver and secure the service.

Cookies

This site only sets technically necessary cookies (session cookie and CSRF protection). No tracking cookies are set, which is why no cookie banner is required.

Reach measurement

For reach measurement we use SimpleStats, a cookieless, server-side analytics service which according to its own information is based and hosted in the EU. The page visited, the referrer source and technical characteristics of the request — including the IP address and browser identifier — are transmitted; SimpleStats derives the approximate country from them and filters out automated traffic. No cookies are set and no personal profiles are created.

Error diagnostics

To keep this site and the game stable we use Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.). When technical errors occur, error data (e.g. browser type, time, error message) is transmitted; personal data such as IP addresses is not deliberately collected. Sentry also processes data in the USA (certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework).

Leaderboard

Participating in the leaderboard is optional. If you join, we store your self-chosen nickname, an anonymous player ID, the level number, your solve time and move count on our server and display them publicly on the leaderboard. No real names or contact details are collected. Entries are removed on request via the address in the imprint.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and delete your data. Contact games@halvicgames.com to do so.
